Bio

I am an Associate Professor at the University of Western Ontario jointly appointed to the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Information and Media Studies (FIMS). Before coming to Western, I was a law librarian at the Boalt Hall Law Library at the University of California at Berkeley and before that I was in private law practice in California. My doctoral work in the Department of Information Studies at UCLA focused on information policy issues.

My current and recent courses include Information & Media Law (FIMS MMJC) , Legal Issues for Information Professionals (FIMS LIS), Comparative Copyright (Law), Media Law (Law), Approaches to Legal Scholarship (Graduate Law) and Music & Copyright (Law and Music).

    Just watched the YouTube video of the The University of Western Ontario presentation on Oct. 4, 2011 … Internet Filtering in the Public Library. A quick mention is made of slides being made available to the audience. Is there any chance of them still being accessible?
